my arrival

hey guys

im tired and i need my bed

its 5.30 pm on thurday 3rd of may.

its been a long few days.  i landed at 5.50 am on the 3rd of may.  waited an hour and half to go through security.  anyway managed to get my bags and got a taxi to caulfield!  i got here just after 8.30! came to my digs! lovely landlord!

at 9.30 kerstin the young girl that works for Mr Peter Moody ( but is leaving on the 11th of may to go traveling) came home from work.  shes german and shes been working here the last three months! shes lovely and was a great help.  we went for a 15 min walk (in the rain) to the shops where i managed to buy a new phone.  then she took me to the supermarket to do some food shopping and then we went to the bank on the way back.

we came back and i had half an hour sleep and the went to evening stables! 

the hours i work over here will be 3.30 am till about 9.30am and then go back at 2 till 4!

this evening i met emma that works in the office, i then went into Mr Moodys office and left the book i gave him to say thank you for letting me come over to work for him.

we went out to the yard where i met nearly everyone that was working this evening, they all seem very kind and very helpfull.

i went to see the famour BLACK CAVIAR. i gave her a pat and watched her swim.

Mr Moody likes his horses to swim twice a day.  i also swam two horses this evening, one horse ( i cant remember his name but i will find out)  is a very good horse and is running in Honk Kong very soon.  that was nice of them to let me do that.

i watched them swimming, eating, rugging up and walking around. it was all very intresting! 

i cant wait to meet Mr Moody, they all told me hes very nice, kind and very relaxed!

about the internet im not sure how offten ill be able to update as this is kerstins laptop and shes going soon.  the landlord has got the internet set up but its a plug in one and ive got an i pad! i will have to try and sort somthing out very soon!

would just like to say how greaful i am to mrs Packard for giving me this opportunity to come out to such an amazing place and to be able to be involved in  such a great team!

highlight of the month was to be able to see and touch BLACK CAVIAR!

Week away

Morning all, it's Tuesday 24th of April!! It's only a week away now till I'm flying out to oz! I've got everything booked but I've not started packing yet! I had my good bye party on Saturday night in a local pub! It was a very good night. It was organised by Kim, Kim Is the assistant at Tizzards. She's Mr and Mrs Tizzards daughter. I had a very good night, it was lovely seeing everyone! Everyone was wishing me well but all want me too come back! I've got a week off this week just to sort few things out and to pack and also to go back to Wales to say bye to my Family. I'm getting very exited about going now but I'm also a little nervous! I suppose that's normal to be a little nervous as I'm going alone!! I'm doing this blog on my I pad but I'm not sure how to update pictures! Hopefully I'll find out how to do it soon Enought! Sorry if i take a while. I'm sure I'll find away! Till next time Take care Cat X
